Talunga Caravan Park Rules
We look forward to welcoming you to Talunga Caravan Park. To ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests, please take a moment to read through our park rules.
Booking, Payments & Office Hours
- All fees must be paid in advance.
- Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice (7 days during peak periods).
- Maximum stay is 42 days, at the discretion of the manager.
- Office hours are 10am to 5pm, with extended hours during peak times.
- Check-in for sites is from 2pm. Check-out is 10am. We try to be flexible where possible, but please note that cabins are strictly 10am check-out unless pre-arranged.
- The park reserves the right to terminate occupancy in accordance with the Residential Parks Act 2007.
Site Use & Vehicles
- One vehicle per site. Additional vehicles may be parked around the oval.
- Guests choose to park at their own risk. While we maintain the park regularly, we cannot be held liable for incidents during your stay.
- Drawbars must face the road to allow for emergency removal.
- Speed limit within the park is 20km/h.
- Guests must seek approval from management before washing vehicles or carrying out automotive repairs on site.
Behaviour & Noise
- Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Please keep noise to a minimum during this time and ensure daytime noise does not disturb other guests.
- Offensive language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Guests are responsible for their own behaviour and that of any visitors during their stay. Please notify management of any additional guests staying overnight.
- Children under 13 must be supervised at all times, including when using the amenities.
- Bike helmets must be worn by all children when riding in the park.
Pets
- Pets are welcome on sites with prior approval.
- All pets must be on a lead or contained at all times and must not be left unattended.
- Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets promptly and keeping noise to a minimum.
- Pets and pet bedding are not to be washed in the laundry.
- Please note that monitored rodent baiting systems may be in use around the park. While no second-kill baits are used, pets must remain supervised and on lead at all times.
- Pets are not permitted inside cabins. Fines apply.
Fires & Smoking
- Individual firepits are permitted only outside of fire ban season.
- Firepits must be fully contained and placed on gravel only.
- Coals must be cooled and disposed of in the steel bins provided, and all mess must be removed.
- Smoking is not allowed in any park buildings, including cabins, amenities and shared areas. Fines apply for smoking in cabins.
Shared Facilities
- Shared areas such as the amenities block, laundry, and BBQ areas must be kept clean and tidy after use.
- General waste should be placed in the red bins.
- Recycling goes in the yellow bins, and 10c bottles and cans can be placed in the crates provided.
Emergencies
- For in-park issues, please call the park number and leave a message if not answered.
- If the situation is urgent, contact 000 services directly.
- In the event of an evacuation, the emergency assembly point is located in the middle of the oval.
